Stardew Valley Bait Maker Guide
Introduction
Bait Maker is a craftable device added in Stardew Valley 1.6, used to convert fish into specific types of bait.
Unlock Condition
- Recipe unlocked after reaching Fishing Level 6
Crafting Materials
- Iron Bar x3
- Coral x3
- Sea Urchin x1
Function
Put any fish into the Bait Maker, and after a certain time it will produce Targeted Bait corresponding to that fish type.
- Targeted Bait greatly increases the chance of catching that type of fish when fishing
- Different fish produce different colors and effects of bait
- Production time is about 10 minutes (game time)
Usage Tips
- Use common fish (such as Carp, Herring) to mass-produce Targeted Bait
- Prepare corresponding bait in advance when challenging Legendary Fish or seasonal fish
- Combined with high-quality rods and bait slot upgrades to improve fishing efficiency
