How to Obtain
Moss is mainly obtained through the following methods:
Foraging Sources
- Trees: During rainy weather, moss has a chance to appear on trees around the farm and Stardew Valley
- Specific Locations: Certain areas have higher moss spawn rates
- Mossy Trees: Special-looking trees covered in moss
Other Methods
- Kill monsters: Certain monsters have a chance to drop moss
- Fishing chests: Chests obtained while fishing have a chance to contain moss
- Panning: Using the Copper Pan in rivers has a chance to yield moss

- Weather: Moss mainly spawns on trees during rainy weather
