Heart Events
Any Time Event
When the player reaches 2 hearts with Shane, an event will trigger where Shane opens up to the player about his inner pain.
2 Heart Event
Enter Marnie’s Ranch, and you will see Shane in the kitchen. He will show you his love for chickens and talk about his dream of becoming a chicken farmer.
3 Heart Event
Shane will send you a gift — the cooking recipe for Pepper Poppers.
4 Heart Event
Between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM, enter The Stardrop Saloon, and you will see Shane drunk in the saloon. You will help him and learn the reasons for his alcoholism.
6 Heart Event
Enter Marnie’s Ranch, and you will see Shane taking care of his chickens. He will show you his newly hatched chicks and talk about his hopes for the future.
7 Heart Event (Part 1)
Shane will send you a letter inviting you to his room.
7 Heart Event (Part 2)
Enter Shane’s room, and you will see him with Jas. He will show you his care for Jas and his desire to become a better person.
7 Heart Event (Part 3)
Shane will send you a gift — a notification unlocking Blue Chickens (if you marry Shane, your chickens have a chance of laying blue eggs).
8 Heart Event
Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, enter Marnie’s Ranch, and you will see Shane taking care of his chickens. He will open up to you, talking about his depression and how he is working to overcome it.
10 Heart Event
In the evening (8:00 PM to midnight), go to the Mountains, and Shane will invite you to watch the night view together. He will confess his feelings to you and talk about his hopes for the future.
14 Heart Event
Post-marriage event. Shane will invite you to a special event, showing how much he values your relationship.
Marriage
After marrying Shane, he will move into your farmhouse. He will build a chicken coop behind the farmhouse and raise a few chickens. He will no longer work at JojaMart (even if JojaMart is still open). He will also occasionally give you gifts such as Beer or Pepper Poppers.
Family Relationships
- Marnie (Aunt): Shane lives on her farm, and Marnie cares about him very much.
- Jas (Goddaughter): Shane loves Jas very much and takes care of her like his own daughter.

Tips
- Among Shane’s favorite gifts, Beer can be purchased from The Stardrop Saloon or brewed using a Keg.
- Hot Pepper can be grown in Summer and is one of the easiest loved gifts to obtain for Shane.
- Pepper Poppers requires learning the cooking recipe (obtained from Shane at 3 hearts).
- Pizza can be purchased from The Stardrop Saloon or cooked.
- His birthday is Spring 20. Giving gifts on this day doubles the friendship effect (8x friendship points).
