Stardew Valley Statue of the Dwarf King Guide
The Statue of the Dwarf King is a piece of equipment in Stardew Valley. You can interact with it once per day, and after interacting, it will provide two buffs for the player to choose from. The buff effect lasts until the end of the day.

Buff List
Every day, the player can choose one of two buffs after interacting with the statue:

Extra Ore
When this buff is active, mining specific types of ore nodes inside and outside the Mines will yield an extra piece of ore. Affected ores include: Stone, Coal, Copper Ore, Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Iridium Ore, Cinder Shard, Radioactive Ore, Bone Fragment, Clay.
More Geodes
When this buff is active, the probability of obtaining geodes when breaking rocks inside and outside the Mines with a Pickaxe or bombs increases by 25%.
More Coal
When this buff is active, the probability of coal dropping when breaking rocks in the Mines increases by 40%, and by 20% when having the Prospector profession.
More Ladders
When this buff is active, the probability of ladders and shafts spawning when breaking rocks in the Mines and Skull Cavern increases by 25%. The probability of ladders spawning when killing monsters also increases from the usual 15% to 22%.
Bomb Immunity
When this buff is active, the player is immune to all damage caused by Cherry Bombs, Bombs, Mega Bombs, and Explosive Ammo inside and outside the Mines. The player is also immune to the explosion damage from Hot Heads in the Volcano Dungeon.
Recipe Acquisition
Select “Mining Mastery” in the Mastery Cave to obtain the crafting recipe for the Statue of the Dwarf King.

Tips
- Choose the appropriate buff based on your plans for the day.
- “More Ladders” or “Extra Ore” are the most efficient choices before going mining.
- “Bomb Immunity” is very practical when using a large number of bombs.
