Stardew Valley Enricher Guide

Introduction

Enricher is an automatic fertilization device added in Stardew Valley 1.6. When placed on farmland, it automatically applies fertilizer to planted crops, saving the trouble of manual fertilization.

Acquisition

Enricher can be obtained in the following ways:

  • Mr. Qi’s Walnut Room: Purchase with Qi Gems
  • Unlock Condition: Need to complete Ginger Island exploration and collect enough Golden Walnuts to enter Mr. Qi’s Walnut Room

Usage

  1. Place Enricher on tilled farmland
  2. Plant crop seeds on the tile where Enricher is located
  3. Enricher automatically applies fertilizer effect to crops

How It Works

  • Enricher automatically applies Quality Fertilizer effect
  • This means crops have a higher probability of producing Silver, Gold, or even Iridium quality produce
  • No need to manually use fertilizer, saving time and inventory space

Notes

  • Enricher can only affect the single tile of farmland it is on
  • Needs to be used with tilled farmland
  • Does not affect crops on surrounding tiles
  • Can be used on both Ginger Island and main farm

Strategy Tips

  • Use Enricher when planting high-value crops (such as Ancient Fruit, Sweet Gem Berry, Starfruit) to maximize profits
  • Suitable for large-scale farm automation layouts
  • Works best when combined with Sprinklers and Pressure Nozzles
  • Quality Fertilizer: Fertilizer effect automatically applied by Enricher
  • Deluxe Fertilizer: Higher quality fertilizer, but needs to be manually applied
  • Speed-Gro: Enricher does not apply Speed-Gro effect
